Yes. As long as the PDF opens and is readable in the Google Drive viewer, orb2bit can capture every page and save it — even when the download button is disabled or the file is set to view-only.

Are my files stored anywhere?

No. Your link is sent to the orb2bit download service, which fetches the document from Google Drive and streams the finished PDF straight back to you. Files are processed in memory to build the PDF and are not stored or shared.

Do I need to install anything?

No. There's nothing to install, no extension to add, and no account to create. Just paste a link and click Download.

Will the downloaded PDF be good quality? Is the text selectable?

For view-only files, each page is captured at full resolution so the PDF looks sharp — but because the pages are saved as images, the text inside them is not selectable or searchable. Files that Google Drive lets you download directly keep their original quality and text.

What if a file is strictly locked and won't download?

If a file is too strictly locked to fetch automatically, orb2bit shows a one-time console script you can paste into that Google Drive tab. It captures the pages you can already see and builds the PDF for you.
