Smart erase covers only the watermark-looking text inside each box, leaving body text visible. Erase all in box paints the whole box white. Both also delete stamp annotations. For the fully lossless smart erase that rebuilds text under the watermark, use the Windows app.

Censoring is real removal, not a cover-up: censored pages are rebuilt as pictures, so the blacked-out text no longer exists in the file. Other pages stay untouched. Search can miss text that is split across formatting runs or drawn tiny/hidden — check the preview and drag boxes over anything it missed.
