Chaos Rush — Privacy Policy

Race hard. Your data stays in the garage.

Last updated 21 August 2026. This policy covers Chaos Rush: Open Road Mayhem, the Android game by orb2bit (package com.orb2bit.chaosrush). It explains, in plain language, what the game does and doesn't do with your data. Our other products are covered by the orb2bit privacy policy.

The short version

Chaos Rush has no account, no registration, and no sign-in. Your progress — coins, unlocks, settings, stats — lives in a save file on your phone and is never uploaded to us; we run no servers for the game and keep no database about you. The game contains no analytics or tracking libraries, no chat, and asks for no camera, microphone, contacts, or location permissions. Two things involve the internet, and both are optional: rewarded ads you can choose to watch for bonus coins (served by Google AdMob), and online multiplayer (connected through Unity's game services). What each of those processes is spelled out below. We never sell your data.

What stays on your device

  • Your save file. The racer name and car name you type, coins, XP, cosmetics, control and audio settings, and lifetime stats are stored only in the game's local save. Uninstalling the game deletes all of it — there is nothing to delete on our side.
  • A random support ID. The Settings screen shows a randomly generated ID you can quote if you ever email us about a problem. It is created on your phone, identifies nothing about you, and is never transmitted anywhere by the game.
  • Your ad-consent choice. Where an ads consent form is required (see below), your answer is stored on the device by Google's consent SDK.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The in-game shop offers free coins for watching a rewarded video ad — you always choose to watch; the game never plays an ad on its own. Ads are served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may process your device's advertising ID, your IP address (which gives an approximate, city-level location), ad interaction data (such as which ads were shown and whether they were watched), and technical diagnostics. This is described in the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses data from apps that use its services.

In the European Economic Area, the UK, and other regions that require it, a consent form appears before any ad is requested. If you decline, the game does not request ads at all — the free-coin button simply shows as unavailable, and everything else in the game works exactly the same. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or turn off ad personalisation, in your phone's settings under Settings → Google → Ads.

Online multiplayer (Unity Gaming Services)

Online play is optional — the game never contacts Unity's services until you open the multiplayer menu. When you do, this is what happens:

  • Anonymous sign-in. The game signs in to Unity Gaming Services (Unity Technologies) with a randomly generated player ID. No name, email, phone number, or account is involved — there is nothing to link the ID to you.
  • What other players see. The racer name and car name you typed, and your car's colours and cosmetics, are visible to the players in your room — in the lobby, on the track, in the kill feed, and on the results screen. Public rooms are named after your racer name ("Turbo's Chaos"). Pick any name you like; it doesn't have to identify you.
  • How traffic flows. Matches are connected through Unity's Relay servers — every player connects to Unity, not to each other, so other players never see your IP address. Unity processes your IP to route the traffic, like any internet service you connect to. What travels between players is game state: positions, items, and the names and cosmetics above. There is no chat.
  • Nothing is kept. Rooms exist only while people are in them and expire seconds after the last player leaves. We store no match history, no leaderboards, and no player records server-side.

Unity's handling of this data is described in the Unity Player Privacy Policy.

WiFi play (same room, no internet)

Chaos Rush can also host matches over your local WiFi or hotspot with no internet at all. When hosting, the game announces the room — your device or host name and the room name — only on your local network, so nearby phones can see it and join. Nothing about WiFi play ever leaves the network you're on.

What the game never does

  • No accounts, no sign-in, no email — ever.
  • No selling or renting of data, to anyone, for anything.
  • No analytics or tracking SDKs; the only third-party services in the game are the two named above.
  • No chat or voice, and no camera, microphone, contacts, or precise-location permissions.
  • Your save file never leaves your phone.

Children

Chaos Rush is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The ad SDK is configured accordingly and follows the choice you make in the consent form.

Your choices

  • Skip ads entirely — they only ever play when you tap the free-coins button, and declining the consent form (where shown) switches them off altogether.
  • Reset or delete your advertising ID anytime in Android's Settings → Google → Ads.
  • Play offline — solo racing, Battle Arena, and Parkour need no connection at all.
  • Erase everything by uninstalling the game — the save is local, so that's genuinely all of it.

Changes & contact

If the game gains features that change what it processes, this policy will be updated first and the date at the top will change. Questions about your data? Email support@orb2bit.com.
